A lovely house, with beautiful views overlooking Chinon town an Vienne river. Very convenient to the local restaurants and shops. All in all, great.
Je recommanderais cette location à un ami.

Beautiful position - lovely views over the river & the fortress above Chinon, 5 mins walk to boulangerie for breakfast croissants, 10 mins walk into the heart of Chinon, lovely patio for outdoor meals, shade from trees in the garden (which was much appreciated in the heat), accommodation very comfortable, kitchen well stocked with all you need. A great base for visiting all the chateaux, walking, cycling, water sports or just relaxing on a lounger. Jean-Christophe is a good host, explaining not just the facilities but also some of the history behind the Chateau. Entrance & exit to the Chateau is through his vineyard, which was interesting! The stairs to the bedrooms are steep & curved, so not disabled-friendly, but the Logis, next to the Chateau, is fine. All 4 of us really enjoyed our stay - a really comfortable week & would recommend it. Parking in Chinon can be a problem, so to have parking & be so close to the centre was a big plus.
